Scott Simpson, President, CEO and Co-founder
Scott has over 20 years of experience in general management, software development, security and telecommunications. Scott oversees company operations and is responsible for overall business strategy. While obtaining his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science (Honors) degree from the University of New Brunswick, Scott has served on several public and private boards, and actively donates time to startups and Ottawa's tech community.
Paul Winterhalder, Vice President, COO and Co-founder
Paul has over 15 years of experience as a software architect and technology manager. He has deep domain expertise in the areas of telecommunications, object-oriented application development and large scale game development. Prior to co-founding bitHeads, Paul worked as a principal architect for Bell-Northern Research's Generic Services Framework project, the largest object-oriented project in the world. He has worked with companies such as 3Com Voice Solutions, Informio, Nortel Networks, Canada Post, GE Aircraft Engines and IBM. Paul holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science Degree (Honors) from the University of New Brunswick.
Rick McMullin, Vice President, CTO and Co-founder
Rick has over 15 years of experience as a software architect and project manager. Prior to co-founding bitHeads, Rick worked as software architect for Bell-Northern Research's Generic Services Framework project, at the time the largest object-oriented project in the world. He has worked with companies such as 3Com, Fulcrum, Nortel, ObjectTime, Bell Sygma, Bell Northern Research, Rational and The Object People. Rick holds an Honors Bachelor of Computer Science from the University of Windsor.
Ted Burnett, Vice President of Business Development
Ted brings over 25 years of senior management experience in sales, marketing and business development to bitHeads. His focus is building a strong team at bitHeads that help our clients develop industry leading products successfully. Prior to joining bitHeads, he was Vice President of Technology at Watchfire. At Watchfire, Ted also served terms as Vice President of Sales and Marketing and Vice President of Business Development.
Tony Mariani, CFO
Tony is responsible for finance, administration and legal affairs. Tony has more than 20 years of senior financial management experience with both public and private companies. He has a bachelor of commerce degree and is a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) and a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
